Talk to Me

All us who have been through it know that the 2ww sucks, but one does not know how much it sucketh until in it. Here's the thing. I'm getting hot flashes. Seriously, hot flashes? Me thinks this can not be good. If anyone else has experienced the same thing and had a BFP, please let me know. I'm confused, and my mind dwells on doom. What is the medical explanation?

It's going to be a long five days.

The hot flash queen shall comment (after 6 months of lupron - I know the flashes), hot flashes are caused by modifications in estrogen levels... not necessarily low levels as sometimes thought but by the fluctuations in those levels and apparently common when people are knocked up (such as you right now).
Perhaps she's just trying to give you a sign but giving you a nice big warm hug.

No experience here...just sending you some well wishes during the painful last leg of the 2WW!

I had 'em and got my BFP a few days ago. And I have 'em even worse now that things are official. It is pretty ick. A lot of laundry is getting done around here.

Hey those are some reassuring comments! I hope these flashes mean only good things for you--sorry I don't have any actual experience in the area of an actual BFP! GOOD LUCK!

Best wishes Phoebe. I hope this one works for you.

On a different note, baby oil will get that gummy glue from estrogen patches off.
