These are not ordinary peaches. These are Colorado peaches. I never liked peaches until I'd had these. Peaches growing up were from the supermarket, hard or mealy and flavorless. Colorado peaches are sweet and dribble down your chin juicy.
This year, the peach season is still going strong at the end of September. I've never seen the peach season go this late. This 20 pound box of peaches lasted our family of four two weeks. I was eating two to four peaches a day. Magic bought another 20 pound box of imperfect peaches today (is it really September 27?!), and they are AMAZING! Normally by now, the peaches are long gone at the Farmer's Market. You have not lived until you have had a Colorado peach!

Mouth. Watering.
I love fresh peaches from the Farmer's Market. They look yummy.
drool!!! mail them to me ASAP!!
i shouldn't complain. Italian peaches can be really good too, but it's a crap shoot now with stupid EU rules mandating Italy buy x% of its peaches from Spain or Greece. so if you get a foreign peach that traveled 1000 miles it can be pretty gross.
Ahhh...Mmmm... I'm salivating!
My good friend had some shipped this summer and brought them to the lake - THEY WERE A-MAZ-ING!
Enjoy...I'm jealous.
I have to admit that I am not a great fan of peaches, but those do look very nice indeed!
Yum! I miss living in a region where fruit like that is local. There are some good local veggies here, but most of the fruit is from far away and loses something in the journey.
Next time I'm in Colorado I'll keep an eye out for peaches. Thanks!
Beautiful and sound so good. I've come to the conclusion that for the most part I dislike supermarket fruit. I so much prefer to get stuff from a farmers market as it usually tastes way better.
Ooh, I LOVE peaches! I bet those are delicious!!
They look yummy. Shoprite had wonderful peaches this year in our neighborhood. I wouldn't be surprised if they came from Colorado. I agree with you some peaches have no taste and some are dripping goodness!
